How to Play the ‘M & M’ game
Players take a colored candy from a bowl of M and M’s (or other candy with multiple colors e.g Skittles, Smarties, etc). The color that is chosen then relates to a question or topic they then answer.
Setup
– 6 questions / topics are chosen for the game, one for each color of M and M.
The colors are Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Brown and Orange.
– A bag / bowl of M & M’s
Playing the Game
– Players are then invited to take a candy or candies (1-3 is recommended) from a bowl before you reveal the questions they must answer for each color of M an M.
– Players then give their answers to the questions, according to the colored candy they have in their hand. (Before then being able to eat it!)
Group Answers
You invite all players with the same color to share their answers, before moving to the next color.
– This method increase group engagement and avoids spotlighting on individuals
– Suitable for larger groups as play is faster
Individual Answers
You invite each player to share all their answers according to the colored sweets they have, one by one.
– Better for a smaller group or where individual answers are likely to be more in depth
Note:
Keep a beady eye to ensure candies are not sneakily consumed before the players have answered their questions!
